How to create a nameless folder

9:13 PM
Ideally you want your data to be well organized within drives, folders and sub-folders; for that you give names to the folder so as to make a distinction of one grouped set of item(s) from the other. But just for fun, how about making folders with no name, yes it is possible using this simple code.

  • Right-click on any folder that you want to convert into a no-name folder, then go to Rename.
  • Now, press and hold the Alt key (don’t release it) after that type in 0160 from the Numpad of you keyboard (present on the right side of keyboard). Don't use the regular numeric input keys.
  • When you are finished with it, click outside the typing area of the folder.
  • There you have it, your stranded no-name folder is created.

*NOTE: If you further want to create another name less sub-folder inside this folder, follow the above steps, then release the Alt key and again repeat the three steps and the folder will be created. Repeat this to make any number of nameless folders.
